Human beings are creatures of habit, which is why we’re comfortable with routine and offer resistance when things change from the norm. Many people prefer things to remain the same, but with this kind of thinking, humanity would never dream, plan ahead or invent new ways of working or living.
Introducing Sage Business Cloud | Enterprise Management or Enterprise Management for short. It’s an ERP system designed for every stage of business growth. Sage has infused its expertise in accounting, financials, enterprise management, people, payroll, payments and banking into a flexible cloud portfolio with access to a comprehensive marketplace of add-on applications that can be updated as and when each business stage needs it.
Sage has changed the product names of Sage X3 and Sage X3 People respectively to Business Cloud Enterprise Management and Business Cloud Enterprise Management HR to make people aware that these solutions are available as part of the Sage Business Cloud. The product you once knew is still the same and all its features remain unchanged, the only thing that’s changing is the name.
This doesn’t mean that our clients are forced to a cloud deployment – we understand that this is a long journey for some.
As Sage CEO Stephen Kelly points out: “Sage Business Cloud is the next transformative wave of business software. As the Fourth Industrial Revolution continues to take hold, we want to make our customers’ lives simpler. Businesses of all shapes and sizes need products that aid productivity, enable them to respond at lightning speed and deliver insights and opportunities. We are ready to meet the needs of the most important people in our business – our customers. And we are just getting started.”
If you are still unsure about what’s changing, here’s a handy list of the new naming convention:
